Credit service organizations, small business owners, churches or employees and their employees need to keep up with today’s critical federal laws to ensure there are no violations. Many run background checks on potential or current staff members, create mailing lists or collect information that can violate these laws.
It is critical that organizations keep up with these changing laws to be in compliance.
Applicants in the FCRA certification program will have access to a study guide to prepare them to complete CCA’s FCRA certification exam. A major portion of the test is based on knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and how to stay in compliance. There are two program version; one designed for lenders and the second version if for background screeners and employers, employees and end users.
Applicants successful completion of the courses is with a passing grade of 75 percent or greater. After passing the applicant will receive a certificate to document their successful completion of the FCRA certification program. Applicants will have 3 attempts to re-take the test if they are not successful on their 1st attempt including in the cost. There is an additional fee to obtain more attempts to pass after three.
